Digital Course Content Access (DCCA)

In an effort to reduce textbook costs, UT and Barnes & Noble have negotiated substantial discounts with publishers to deliver Digital Course Content Access (DCCA) via a digital textbook and/or digital course materials on the first day of class. Charges for the DCCA will be assessed when you register for the applicable classes unless you opt-out of the program.

Digital Course Content Access (DCCA) Opt-Out

The University of Toledo provides students the ability to opt out of Digital Course Content Access (DCCA). Opting out of DCCA and the automatic delivery of digital textbook and course materials will restrict access and could hinder your academic success in this course. If you opt out, it will be your responsibility to obtain all necessary textbooks (electronic or print) and access to online course materials provided by the publisher. Please contact your instructor before opting out of the digital course materials in order to fully understand the implications.

Students who wish to exercise their right to opt out of Digital Course Content Access should download the Digital Course Content Access Opt-Out Form (PDF) and submit the completed and signed form to Rocket Solution Central, 1200 Rocket Hall, by the end of the 100% tuition refund period to ensure the appropriate fee adjustment Click here to view specific dates and refund period information.
